Our work with Westar (previously Western Resources) began in the fall of 2000. The goal of the company was to update the various floors occupied in its downtown Topeka facility.

Upon evaluation of multiple furniture manufacturers and dealerships, BA Designs and Kimball Office furniture were selected for the sizable project. Completion of the floors would phase in over the next five years.

Currently BA Designs has worked with the corporation's staff architect to create the space plans, specify, procure and install three floors of furniture. Fall 2002 will bring completion of the next floor.

Since the start of this project our responsibilities have extended beyond the newly remodeled floors into a weekly installation service contract. Our installation company visits the various facilities weekly to complete the many work orders (hit list items) that are faxed to our office.
